Indemnity Agreement
LEGAL INDEMNITY & LIABILITY WAIVER
1. Definitions and Interpretation
"The League" refers to SchoolCricketLeague, its organizers, directors, employees, hired match mentors, umpires, and independent contractors.
"The Participant" refers to the minor child/children registered under this profile.
"The Guardian" refers to the parent or legal guardian executing this digital agreement.
"Facilities" refers to any school grounds, sports clubs, nets, fields, or hubs utilized by the League for matches or events.
2. Assumption of Risk
The Guardian acknowledges that cricket is an active sport involving physical exertion and inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries from cricket balls, bats, collisions, and slips on the playing surface. The Guardian explicitly assumes all risks associated with the Participant’s involvement in the League’s matches and on‑field mentorship sessions and confirms the Participant is physically fit for participation.
3. Waiver of Liability and Indemnity
The Guardian hereby releases, waives, and discharges the League, its organizers, and the host school/facility from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, sickness, death, or property damage occurring during or as a result of any League activity. The Guardian agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the League and the host facility against any third‑party claims arising from the actions or negligence of the Participant or the Guardian while on the facility premises.
4. Emergency Medical Treatment Consent
In the event of an injury or medical emergency during a match, the Guardian grants permission to the League organizers and hired staff to authorize necessary emergency medical treatment, first aid, or transportation to a medical facility. All costs incurred for emergency medical services, ambulance transportation, or hospital care will be the Guardian’s private responsibility.
5. Media and Photography Release
The Guardian grants SchoolCricketLeague the right to take photographs and video recordings of the Participant during matches for digital scoring profiles, league updates, and marketing materials. To opt‑out, a formal written request must be submitted to league administration prior to the first matchday.
6. Facility Rules and Property Damage
The Guardian and Participant agree to abide by all host school facility rules, including anti‑littering policies, designated spectator zones, and the protection of campus property. The Guardian accepts full financial liability for any malicious or negligent damage caused to school or club facilities by the Participant or their guests.
